Lacy Brandt

Registered Acupuncturist and Clinic Instructor

About Me

I'm Lacy, a Registered Acupuncturist serving the communities of Southern Vancouver Island. My practice is rooted in the traditional territories of the Lekwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees) and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples. I want to acknowledge and thank these peoples and their stewardship of the land.

I also acknowledge that I am a white cis woman practicing a medicine from east asia that through out recent history was received with racism, disapproval and even legal issues in America, a long way from it's more widely accepted and regulated place in culture today. With humility, respect and gratitude I extend and honor the generations of Asian practitioners and teachers for sharing the knowledge and practice of this medicine to the extent that it is accessible today.

My personal journey into acupuncture was driven by seeking acupuncture and herbal medicine to help me recover from crohn's disease. At a crossroads of my life acupuncture showed me back to health and myself. Now, it is a privilege to provide this for others and teach the medicine as well.

What treatments with me look like:

When clients come to see me, they are often seeking relief from pain and discomfort, a sense of balance, and improved overall health. My aim is to facilitate space where you feel seen, comfortable, and thoroughly cared for. When you leave the room you should feel relief physically and emotionally.
